Sausage and Beer at Wurstküche

Just about every sausage you can think of is on the menu at Wurstküche, over 20 sausage varieties, including a few that will make you take a double take. The exotic section of the menu includes Rattlesnake, Rabbit with Jalapeno, and Alligator and Hickory Smoked Pork Andouille Sausage. As tempting as they were, I loved the Chicken Apple with Spices.

There are 3 soy based sausages so there's no need to leave your vegetarian friends at home. On the side, Belgian fries come with Blue Cheese Walnut and Bacon dipping sauce or just about any sauce you can imagine.

The beer selection is fantastic. Belgian, German and American on tap and bottled. The Blanche de Bruxelles went great with my sweet chicken sausage. There's also a large gourmet soda selection with fun flavors: Mr. Q Cumber Soda, Victorian Lemonade, and Sarsaparilla to name a few.

The large sun-filled back room has a laid back vibe and a selection of seating options: the long communal table in the center, the bar or smaller cafe tables. This is a great addition to the Arts District. I'll definitely be back.
