September 20th Spain on the Road Again premiers on PBS. Snap, this 13 week show looks great. Mario Batali traveled throughout Espana with Gweneth Paltro, Mark Bittman and Claudia Bassols. This could be fun. Episodes will be available for download on iTunes. They'll have a companion cookbook due out in October. You can pre-order it for a discounted price on their website.
What a fun mix: Vegetarian Gweneth, Mario's passion for food and fun, combined with cookbook author Bitman's knowledge sounds like a recipe for a great show. I don't know much about Claudia the Spanish actress; yet glad to see a Spaniard attached to the show.
Sidenote: Spain is one of my favorite countries and my all time fave food. I could live on Spanish tapas! The photo is taken at a one of those beautiful old bars in Madrid that has been around forever serving tasty tapas.
