I pulled into the the gas station in Brentwood the other day. While they were putting oil and washer fluid in my car I ducked next door (well nearby) to the Brentwood Country Mart to grab a quick bite to go. The City Bakery is an amazing shop with beautifully prepared food. The gourmet grub is self serve. The food is a similar, gourmet quality to Joan's on Third. I grabbed some orzo with raisins, pine nuts, capers, feta, parsley and lemon juice. It was outrageously good. Had I had more time I would have tasted just about everything.

I love this place! Stay away from the egg and cheese sandwich though.. otherwise it's all good.
