It's always a treat to bring friends to Umami Burger, home of the best burgers in Los Angeles. I took Robin to the original location on La Brea. The photo captures her after her first bite of an Umami burger, priceless. Angelenos are so in love with Umami's burgers that like Pinks or Kogi we will wait for a seat in this out of the way location. I try to avoid the crowds and dine earlier to avoid the rush. We were the first customers for lunch on Friday. By the time we left they were packed. So popular are Umami's burger's they've started popping up all over Los Angeles in Hollywood and Los Feliz.

I totally agree! I am a devout fan of the Hatch burger. I became a convert from the Apple Pan, which I still like, just not quite as passionately as I love Umami!
