This tiny, hidden, wooden, snack shack has homemade treats for vegetarians and non-vegetarians alike. Best of all it's in beautiful Griffith Park, with convenient and ample parking, even Wi-Fi. Kelly, Dahlia's mom, suggested the spot because it's one of her daughter's favorites. I can see why: we were able to hike, play in the park and eat, without driving to various locations.
I had the tomato tart with flaky crust and some of Kelly's avocado sandwich. Three year old Dahlia enjoyed her scone and kept asking for pancakes. It's amazing how much kids can eat.
There are plenty of tables. It's the perfect place for a picnic without having to prepare the food yourself.
