Summer Sweet Tooth: Morning Glory Confections

A little piece of rich peanut brittle the size of a Wheat Thin is just the amount of sweetness I need to satisfy my sweet tooth in this hot, summer heat. I discovered Morning Glory Confections at the West Hollywood Farmers Market on Melrose Place this past Sunday with their beautiful display of handmade peanut brittle in two ($5) and five ($10) ounce packages. Turns out it was their first time at the Weho Farmers Market. Lucky me! Win and I sampled all the flavors. Our fave brittle was the soon to be released Thai Curry and Peanut, dulce with a punch. Divine.

We purchased (2) 5 oz. packages as a gift (to save the calories):

The Fleur de Sel & Peanut Brittle: The name says it all. Salty sweet notes of classic peanut brittle are elevated to the sublime with the finest French sea salt.

The Chai Tea & Cashew Brittle: It taste like the holidays. Warm complex flavors of chai tea are combined with buttery cashews for the experience that evokes the coziness of winter nights.

The clever flavors and fresh branding exude creativity.
The artisan brittle is handmade by friendly Max Lesser, a private chef and double art school grad (Art Institute of Chicago and CalArts). Morning Glory Confections are available online and at many local stores around Los Angeles including Joan's on Third and Clementine. For my Boston readers, you can find Morning Glory Confections at Allendale Farm in Brookline.

are you attending the bloggerprom? Two LARGE assortments are being giving out during the raffles there!

I'm pretty basic with my brittles, the peanut-fleur de sel is really good; I like the others too, though.
