Chic Rotisserie Café on Pico

Chic Rotisserie Café on Pico between Hauser and Curson is located in a groovy little area across the street from Bloom and just a few blocks away from the cute bakery cafe Petite Sara. It's owned by Chef Arnaud Palatan, formerly of Pastis on Beverly (who also owns Bloom).

Open just a couple of months, natural, free-range rotisserie chicken is the main event here, with tasty sides, salads and whole wheat wraps. You can eat in or take out. A whole chicken to go is $13, with 2 large sides $22. A half chicken with two sides $11.50.

The chicken is moist and tender. It doesn't need any of the homemade sauces that come on the side, but damn, they are so good. The Duo of Mushrooms sauce is not to be missed, nor the Tomato, Eggplant & Zucchini "Provencal" Gratin.

Alli411 Tips and Treats

1. Print this postcard and bring it in for 15 % discount and surprise gift. Tell them Alli411 sent you.

2. Read the street signs clearly. I parked in a meter and made sure I filled it so I had plenty of time. When I came back to the car the meter maid was giving me a ticket and would not give me a break. Cost of lunch $69= $11 for food, $58 for parking (yikes).
